I am overwhelmed with Joy as I write this blog post, because I am going to be a mom! I have so much to learn! This weekend I am 9 weeks a long. In a book I am reading they say the size of our little bundle is a size of a green olive! Hahha, that is so funny – I LOVE GREEN OLIVES! Since we have known about being pregnant for a few weeks I wanted to do a special photo session, so I made Jon take some photos of me before I get bigger and we will certainly post my progressThere is so much to think about since this little peanut has “entered” into our life! I cannot wait to pick out colors and play house and have tea (if its a girl). I cannot wait to hold them and hug them and simply watch our baby sleepAs some of you know we have a Bernese Mountain Dog and her name is Eva (from Walle) and I love to watch her sleep. It brings me so much joy! I am going to make a gazillion blankets or at least in my mind I think I can! Hahaha! I cant wait to buy all my favorite books from when I was little and read it to our little one! There is just so many things to look forward too, along with the other stuff that maybe tough, but I am not doing it a lone, thank goodness. I have an amazing husband who is equally thrilled about us being pregnant and a support group that is beyond my expectation! I am blessed beyond words. Well enjoy the photos Jon took!

This month’s Beautiful Woman of The Month I asked a good friend of ours, Jeanette to write about our cousin Sarah. I couldn’t have written it better myselfEnjoy the blog post and Beautiful Sarah!

Sarah Snyder is a petite, beautiful blond with vibrant blue eyes.  Her smile and laugh light up the room.  While her physical beauty is captivating, her soft, gentle nature will immediately draw you in.  One of the most beautiful things about Sarah is her heart of generosity.  She will give of her time, talents, friendship and finances when she knows someone has a need.  When her friend has a new baby on the way she sews a cute quilt for the new little one. She uses her love for crafts to offer a house warming gift to a friend moving into a new home.  She gives of her time and volunteers with the kids at her church.  She also has a love for cooking and makes the most delicious peppermint bark for Christmas that you have ever tasted!

One of  Sarah’s favorite past times is watching the cooking channel.  While most people would settle for watching these delectable dishes being cooked on TV Sarah won’t just stop there.  She’ll bring the dish alive in her own kitchen or she’ll travel an hour to try one of the newest restaurants that was just raved about that week on her favorite show.  Not many people would drive 70 miles just to try doughnuts!

This girl loves being who she is!  She is fun, adventurous, family oriented, relaxed, friendly, joyful and steadfast.  She has overcome and continues to overcome hardship as she has battled physical infirmity for many years.  You would never know this by looking at her.  Through it all she has maintained her faith in the Lord and his amazing plan for her life.  She has battled through and has found the joy in the life God has given her.

I count it a joy to be her friend.  She has taught me about gracefulness through our trials.  I don’t think she would ever tell you these things outright.  That’s not her way.  Her way is to just be her and that is enough.  The grace flows through her eyes, her smile, and her love through actions. Sarah’s twenty-five years of life have been a precious gift to this world.  I’m so glad I get to see how God is going to continue to use her to brighten this world!

We have a wonderful friend that have taken us on a long journey to graciously design our new logo. She is a genius, works hard and always puts out her best for everyoneWe were so honored that she wanted to take the time to work on this for us. And we absolutely love what she has come up with! Her name is Becca of  RSJ Creative, check out her out! After going through our first set of ideas, and then a second set of ideas, she came up with this. The logo she has designed is what she see’s in us and it was very flattering and humbling.

We are glad to finally get a fresh logo and start using it on our photos! Thanks Becca for all your hard work, the time you put into it, and for working with us! We love it!
