Beautiful Woman of The Month :: December 2010 :: Sarah

This month’s Beautiful Woman of The Month I asked a good friend of ours, Jeanette to write about our cousin Sarah. I couldn’t have written it better myselfEnjoy the blog post and Beautiful Sarah!

Sarah Snyder is a petite, beautiful blond with vibrant blue eyes.  Her smile and laugh light up the room.  While her physical beauty is captivating, her soft, gentle nature will immediately draw you in.  One of the most beautiful things about Sarah is her heart of generosity.  She will give of her time, talents, friendship and finances when she knows someone has a need.  When her friend has a new baby on the way she sews a cute quilt for the new little one. She uses her love for crafts to offer a house warming gift to a friend moving into a new home.  She gives of her time and volunteers with the kids at her church.  She also has a love for cooking and makes the most delicious peppermint bark for Christmas that you have ever tasted!

One of  Sarah’s favorite past times is watching the cooking channel.  While most people would settle for watching these delectable dishes being cooked on TV Sarah won’t just stop there.  She’ll bring the dish alive in her own kitchen or she’ll travel an hour to try one of the newest restaurants that was just raved about that week on her favorite show.  Not many people would drive 70 miles just to try doughnuts!

This girl loves being who she is!  She is fun, adventurous, family oriented, relaxed, friendly, joyful and steadfast.  She has overcome and continues to overcome hardship as she has battled physical infirmity for many years.  You would never know this by looking at her.  Through it all she has maintained her faith in the Lord and his amazing plan for her life.  She has battled through and has found the joy in the life God has given her.

I count it a joy to be her friend.  She has taught me about gracefulness through our trials.  I don’t think she would ever tell you these things outright.  That’s not her way.  Her way is to just be her and that is enough.  The grace flows through her eyes, her smile, and her love through actions. Sarah’s twenty-five years of life have been a precious gift to this world.  I’m so glad I get to see how God is going to continue to use her to brighten this world!
