James was in a friends wedding we photographed a couple years ago and now its his turn, to prepare a wedding with the one he loves, Christine
Their wedding will take place in late summer and its going to be beautiful, I just know it!
Meet Chris and Rachel, they are getting married on a Sunday this coming June and we are stoked!!!!
We had such a great time at Kerry Park in Seattle, where Chris proposed to RachelLOVE!
I have been inspired by many things lately, more since going full time with this little passion of mine and it just keeps growing. Everything I see, love, touch relates back to what I want to photograph and more importantly, challenge myself with. This time, I wanted to do something that I have seen done a lot but have never been apart of. Therefore I gathered inspiration on Pinterest and it grew from there. In a matter of a few weeks, it all came together. I even made my own floral head piece for the session (see what I pinned). Luckily my model and I wear the same size, so I brought a couple items with me and she brought a dress from her closet that was perfect and paired it with greatest shoes. Jenna is a talented young lady, she was able to do her own hair and makeup for the session.
I knew I wanted it light, pink, creamy, lovely, feminine and simply beautiful. It’s always fun to play dress up. And that is exactly what happened here
I have said this before but we have some of the most genuine nice couples we could ask for and they are always trusting
Most of the times I am able to meet with the bride and groom prior to the wedding but because Alyssa and Tory lives in OR, therefore we did not get a chance to meet nor did I get to do an engagement session but it is okay, instead I got to meet with her sweet momma and amazing sister at Starbucks and talked wedding talk and heard all about the couple through these lovely ladies.
We met Alyssa and Tory for the first time on their wedding day believe it or not. And we fell in LOVE with them just like I suspected
Tory is handsome, super shy and Alyssa is exuberant, beautiful, fun and kind! The story is that these two met when they were young teenagers. They have gone through a lot and have grown up together. Alyssa and Tory LOVE each other. Deeply.
