October :: Lexie, Beautiful Woman of The Month ::

Meet Lexie, we met at church through one of my high school girls that was in my small group last year. Lexie is strong young adult that has come a long way to be where she is at now.  She has a big heart to help others, especially those that are struggling with hard times. I have watched her fill up with compassion when she listens to someone who is going through a hard time. When you first meet Lexie she is pretty quite but once you get to know her,  she opens up and you will see the determined and caring person I have come to know. She is very honest and genuine and what you see is what you get. She loves to hang out and laugh and she seems reserved at first but she’s really just a lil kid at heart. I have gotten to see this side of her more and more especially now that she has jumped on board with the Jr. High ministry at our church. That is what I love about her, the joy that comes out in her is like a child and that radiates! Enjoy the questions and answers from her. Thanks Lexie for being open and honest:)

M: How old are you?

L: I’m 18– That one was easy! 😉

M: What are five things on your bucket list?

L: Five things on my bucket list– 1) Spread God’s love & mercy every chance I get. 2) Start my own family someday. 3) Finish at least 4 years of college. 4) Take time to travel at least once a year. 5) See Damien Rice perform live.:)

M: What is one piece of advice you would give yourself when you started out in high school?

L: Well honestly, going in to high school is would an advice I’d give myself, I wasn’t very smart. I don’t really think I focused on anything but trying to have fun.

M: What is something you want to pass on to Jr. higher’s?

L: To Jr Highers: Having the coolest friends isn’t everything. Grades are really important too!
M: What makes you laugh the hardest?

L: Things that make me laugh really hard: Puns!! Cheesy jokes. People tripping (only if they don’t get hurt). James doing his Sid the Sloth voice. My family’s costume party/leg wrestling tournament that we have every year on Christmas Eve. People talking after they inhale helium.

M: What’s your favorite movie?

L: I don’t know if I can pick just one, but I really love the Virgin Suicides, Inside Man, 500 Days of Summer, and the Boondock Saints.

M: What restaurant would you recommend in the world?

L: Well I gotta change the restaurant question a little. If I could recommend food to the world– I would have my mom cook for everyone! She actually might be more talented than Martha Stewart.

M: What is the biggest thing you have learned in the last two years?
L: The biggest thing I have learned in the last few years is that there is not a single fear that people can’t overcome with God.

Lindsey Grip - What a small world! I knew the minute I started reading the interview that this was MY Lexie 😉 I love how you captured “her” in the photos. Great job, Moch! Love you, Lex!
